In the first part of the course, any gaps in primary school knowledge are filled, thus laying the ideal foundation for further work.
There is sufficient time to address individual questions and difficulties and to set individual goals.
In this phase, the repeated topics are consolidated by solving numerous exercises and discussing them together.
In the regular gymi preparation course, it is assumed that the technical basics are in place - here we have the opportunity to consolidate precisely these.
The comprehensive repetition of school material and the early confrontation with challenging tasks give the students in the preliminary course an important head start. They are thus ideally prepared for the regular grammar school preparation course.
Our preliminary course is the ideal opportunity to start early Gymi-preparation without time pressure and to lay the ideal foundation for our regular courses. In German, students are introduced to essay writing in a playful way, correct spelling is practiced and relevant grammar topics are scrutinized. In mathematics, the initial focus is on repetition and consolidation of the most important topics. Afterwards, the first text problems and possible solution strategies are looked at, as these are central to the Gymi-preparation .
The preliminary course gives participants an important head start, which will stand them in good stead for the regular Gymi-preparation .

Individual courses:
The dates and times are set by mutual agreement. It is possible to start at any time towards the end of year 5.
We have created detailed sample solutions for all math dossiers that show the solution step by step. This allows participants to see at their leisure at home how a task was solved.
Essay training is a core component of our courses. The planning, writing and revising of texts is developed step by step and internalized through regular writing assignments.
Success or failure in the exam depends not only on technical ability, but also on methodological skills. This is why we also deliberately teach various examination and learning strategies.
Our teachers are selected with the utmost care, have a pedagogical background and a great deal of experience in the field Gymi-preparation.
No, you don't have to. You will receive an invoice at the end of the month with all the tutoring lessons.
Of course - you can decide individually when and how many tutoring lessons you need. This can be significantly more one week than the next.
You can also decide this yourself - many students would like to discuss the documents from school together and therefore take them with them to tutoring. However, we are also happy to put together additional material for you.
As long as you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, we will not charge for the lesson. If you are unable to attend at very short notice, we will unfortunately have to charge you for the lesson, as we would like to pay the teachers their usual wages in such cases - and they have already fully prepared for the lesson.
In order to guarantee optimal support, our courses are limited to a maximum of 8 participants in the six-month courses and 10 participants in the intensive and vacation courses.
Of course, we are always available for our students and are happy to help with any questions. We have group chats in the respective course groups to make it easy to get in touch.
All courses are based on a comprehensive printed course workbook. In addition, students receive access to our digital course platform, which features numerous instructional videos, additional practice exercises, and sample solutions to past entrance exams. Upon request, we are also happy to compile supplementary materials.
In the optional review sessions, all relevant fundamentals previously covered in the course are reviewed once again. The session is recorded so that you can watch it later if you’re unable to attend live. Our Checkpoints are specially developed mid-term assessments that can be taken after each learning unit. This way, students always know exactly what they’ve mastered and what they still need to work on.
The review lessons & Checkpoints are currently offered exclusively in the six-month Gymnasium preparation course.
